I've got that mail from Kiss support today:

We are not sure if we can make any support for two file types on a DiSK ...

But we are looking at it.

 

The Firmware release wich should support DiVX 3.11 will hopefully br

awailable within 2 month.

Dear Sir's

 

at first I like to thank you for the development and actual support of the

KiSS DP-450.

It's a great device which I don't want to give away anymore

 

You have made a big step with the latest firmware 2.6.3 for the DP-450.

The upcoming firmware with support for DivX 3.11 is long awaited by your

fans and customers.

 

But I have a "little" request that a function could be implemented in a

future release of the KiSS DP series devices. Would it be possible to

choose what media the player should play/show?

My problem (and maybe that of other people) is I have some CD's with shared

conted.

That mean's there is one or more .AVI videos on it and mybe some .jpg Images

in the root folder of the CD. It would be great if you would have the choice

to play the video files or to show the pictures.

With the actual firmware, if a picture is found in the root of the CD, the

DP-450 show's only the pictures.

 

Ok thats it. I hope you can handle the crap I've written above.

2 Schade, das dir eigentlich keiner richtig zugehört hat!. Es hätte in der Antwortmail unbedingt reingemusst:

 

At first please update your firmware.

Wie du vielleicht weisst, ist die 2.6.3 instabil und nicht zu gebrauchen. Schnellstmöglich auf die aktuelle 2.6.5 updaten!!
